An Unexpected PassengerTwo car thieves in Germany received a pretty nasty surprise after stealing a van from a circus. The pair unknowingly stole a van that happened to be housing a 5 year old lion named Caesar. They abandoned the vehicle after crashing the van into a street sign. Presumably this was around the same time it dawned on them that they were chauffeuring a 200KG lion and that they urgently required clean underwear.

A village in India, in the build-up to a local festival, had been stock piling a fermented rice drink. Due to increased urbanisation of India elephants have slowly become accustomed to humans and are no longer avoid them. The Elephants would frequently enter the town to find food, although on this particular day they got their trunks into something a little more alcoholic. An Elephant reign of terror like no other then began, lasting for 4 days, destroying 60 homes and killing 3 people.
Kenyan Monkey GangBack in August 2007, Nachu, Kenya villagers having their lives made a complete and total misery by an angry monkey gang. Up to 300 monkeys are invading the village on a daily basis, stealing food and making obscene gestures at the women.
Sharks Walk the EarthIn 2008 a woman from Penang, Malaysia had a particularly peculiar day at the market. That day she had decided to buy a shark for dinner from the local market. She purchased a small 1 foot shark and brought it home to get it prepared. Only once she began preparing it did she notice something a little bit different about tonight’s dinner. Poking out, below the sharks lower fins were two webbed feet. She immediately returned it to the fisherman who threw it back into the sea for fear of it being a bad omen.
