Beautiful Cayo Largo
My spouse and I had recently had the most amazing trip to Cayo Largo, Cuba. It was my first time, and I will never forget seeing the beautiful pristine virgin beaches of Cayo Largo. With no exaggeration, it took my breath away! It truly felt like a picture I had in my head since childhood under 'beach' had come to life!!
I don't think that happens very often :):) The endless blue sky, crystal waters and white sand were unbelievable... Let's just say I found the spot where I want to renew my vows :) On one of the days, we took a long walk along the beach, collecting shells and feeling the soft sand under our feet. The sun started setting and we found a comfy spot and watched the sun go down.
The next morning, we got up early and watched the sunrise. Words cannot describe what you feel watching the sun setting and rising over an infinite stretch of water. It touched my heart? We can't wait to go back again!!

Our plane takes off
Belize 2008 was the best vacation my husband and I had that year. We left the cold weather of NY in February and took almost all day to arrive to our destination Ambergris Caye via a 10 seater plane and a 30 minute night boat ride.
This was one of our best vacations since we won the flight and a hotel stay at Belize Legacy Resort. We were greeted with excellent rum punch and a complimentary dinner on our arrival and felt we were treated like royalty.
The next morning we awoke to a beautiful sun and our first outing to snorkel at the coral gardens. We returned after a couple of hours to relax on their beach with drinks, food and the soft sound of the waves hitting the beach.
On another of our snorkeling trips we were able to meet the shark whisperer Lil Alphonse who made our snorkeling trip and encounter with stingrays and nurse sharks fantastic.
We also stayed near San Pedro at Corona del Mar and Xanadu to experience different lodgings and ammenities. We loved each one for different reasons. Xanadu felt like a private oasis with shaded palm trees, a swimming pool and private pier with a hammock to relax at and watch the sunset.
Corona felt like we were vacationing with family and friends due to the warm reception from the staff, the free breakfast and the homey feeling of a bed and breakfast.
It was great to rent a golf cart and bicycles and get around the island that way. We were fortunate to have wonderful weather and get to meet so many locals and Canadians that frequently vacation on this strip of paradise. This is where I long to be.. la isla bonita.

The Shores of Michigan
While the breeze was blowing in our face and the majestic sandy shores of Michigan awaited us, our three precious daughters took a stroll while holding hands. This is a treasured moment in my heart a perfect vacation getaway.

Married the love of my life by the sea
Married the love of my life by the sea.
I got to share a fantastic favorite location of mine with my then fiancee. At the end of the week, we got married with a small ceremony overlooking the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.
There were some onlookers there and the beauty of the surroundings. I tossed my bouquet into the ocean and almost 10 years later I live 2 blocks from the ocean with my love.
