Birthday Bash at Seven Feathers Resort and Casino

My Mother loves to go up to Seven Feathers Resort. We take in a show in the lounge and do a litle gambling. For her 82nd Birthday, her daughters arranged to throw a Birthday party for her at Seven Feathers. We rode up I-5 in my older sisters' (Pat) van. My two sisters, (Dolly Newton and Pat Woods), Pats' daughter (Eva), Mommy(Eva Murphy), and Myself (Christine Murphy).

We saw a great show in the Caberet Lounge (the shows are free will a 2 drink minimum per person). We spent several hours gambling (I don't remember if we won or lost, it really didn't matter, we were just having fun). All of us enjoyed the show and were entertained by the the machines.

I made up a poster to remember the night of March 4, 2007. We knew Mommy was getting older and wanted to enjoy as many fun times as we could with her. What we couldn't know was that our older Sister, Pat, would die of a stress-related stroke on September 11, 2007.

Because we made the decision to go on this Birthday trip, we will always have this fantastic Family memory. I encourage everyone to plan a trip with loved ones, do it now, you never know when it will be too late. And the wonderful memories will far surpass the cost of the trip.
