Australia

Surfing is one of the main tourist attractions in Australia and the sunshine state of Queensland is the place to visit to experience it to its fullest. China

Russia is another country which will amaze you with its rich historical culture. The remnants of the soviet union and its rule are clear across the country and it is a nation rich with history dating back to the rule of Tsars.

• Moscow

The Kremlin and the Red Square, which it sits alongside, are iconic landmarks in Moscow. At the foot of the Kremlin lies the mausoleum of Lenin and the graves of iconic soviet figures like Stalin and other government officials. At one end sits one of the most amazing cathedrals of all time. It is constructed of multi-coloured, spiralling spires, and is decorated with golden artwork within. The Red Square is a sight to behold within a city which will keep you entertained throughout the day and night.

• St Petersburg

St Petersburg is worth visiting simply for the Hermitage Museum. It is one of the oldest and most amazing museums in the world and it is so full of history that it would require a 24 mile walk to see every relic on show. St Petersburg in general is full of historical artefacts and monuments. You could spend weeks there without seeing a tenth of what is on offer and it will not fail to amaze.
