"Digging" it on the Beach on North Padre Island, Texas

We spent a weekend at the end of the summer on North Padre Island, giving our grand kids a beach experience. They live in San Antonio and had never been on a beach before. The beach was great, getting to the beach through the tall grass was a nightmare. Guaranteed to be swarmed and bitten by huge aggressive mosquitoes even when running the 100 foot route.

When we returned to San Antonio, the kids would talk about the mosquitoes over what they thought of the ocean. We'll try again sometime when it hasn't rained the week before.
