Do I need a Thailand multiple entry visa?

Thailand Multiple Entry Visa Question

Thailand Multiple Entry Visa Question

I'm going to be visiting several different countries over the course of about two and a half months. Thailand doesn't require a visa if its under a month that I will be staying. But I am going to be entering two or three times. Is it required to get a multiple entry visa? I will not be staying for more than a week each time so not sure if I need a visa or not. Thank you

ANSWER:

If I understand this correctly, every time you will be in Thailand, your stay will be for only around a week. Even though you are staying less than 30 days each time you are there, you will need to apply for a multiple entry visa. Thailand only waives the visa requirement if you are doing a single entry trip.

Since you are re-entering on a few different occasions in a short amount of time, you will need to obtain a double or multiple entry. When you apply, you will have to submit a confirmed flight itinerary which shows the different sets of dates of entry. This will serve as proof to them that you need a multiple entry visa.
