Do I need a visa for a cruise to Mexico?

(Virginia )

Mexico Visa Cruise Question

Mexico Visa Cruise Question

I just paid for my cruise to Mexico and didn't even think about it at first. My mom mentioned to me if I had a Mexico visa yet. I told her that it didn't say anywhere on the cruise site that I need a mexican visa.

Does anyone know if you need to get one for a cruise? I know we will be stopping at different cities and doing tours. Wanted to know since we will be on land here and there so I'm not sure about this.

ANSWER:

Hello,

I'm assuming that you are a US citizen and as an American you do not need to have a tourist visa for a Mexico cruise. Take your passport with you though.

Make sure your passport is not about to expire and also it's a good idea to have some blank pages left. That's it so nothing to worry about with having to get a visa. Have fun!
