Exploring a "Whole New World" in Corpus Christi

Earlier this summer our family made a trip down to Corpus Christi Texas to discover all this quaint city had to offer. We loved that the city had culture, history and education rolled into their tourist attractions with the Museum, USS Lexington and how can we forget the Texas State Aquarium.
Our 5 year old is passionate about animals and what made visiting the aquarium special was the fact that its founded on the precepts of rehabilitation and conservation. It was like exploring a whole new world with the dolphins, fish, otters and even birds of prey.
After a day out sight -seeing there is honestly nothing more therapeutic than parking one's self in front of a life size dolphin exhibit and watching those shy yet amazingly child loving sea creatures play with your children. The barriers of glass and water didn't stop our 5 year old (and us) from exploring a whole new world of fun!
