How do I get a passport name change done quickly?

Passport Name Change Question
I will be heading off to Europe vacation soon. Was wondering if it's a good idea to go with my passport that has my maiden name in it. I'm married now with my husband's last name. Is it alright to just take my new driver's license and my old passport. That way they can see I'm the same person. Or should I do the passport name change? Does anyone have suggestions? I leave in a little over a month.
Thank you so much!
ANSWER:Hi Paula,
When you get married and change your last name, you should get your passport amended so your current last name is there. I wouldn't take a chance of going to Europe with a passport that is different than your current name on your ID and itinerary.
You could either go to the post office and pay extra for expedite service. It usually takes 2-3 weeks although there are no guarantees. Or you could hire a passport expedite company to help you. They will be able to process it anywhere from 24 hours to 3 weeks depending on which processing fee you choose. Hope that helps, have a great in Europe!
