I know that there are people out there who go on cruises time after time, so a cruise to the Bahamas would be an 'ordinary' vacation to them. To my husband and me, our cruise was spectacular.
We were in awe of the beauty of the water, the horizon, and the islands we stopped and spent the day. This was paradise to us and that is how we do and always will remember it.
During this trip, we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. We also celebrated rekindling some of the old romance and 'awe' in our own relationship. We held hands when we walked, laughed together as we watched comedians, and kissed when taking time alone in our cabin.
Our bed was turned down each night. Our dinner table was reserved each evening. We felt that we were treated like royalty, which was a much needed feeling after many years of 'family' vacations. This time it was only us as a couple.
It was easy to relax, beautiful to see, and fun to experience. This was no ordinary vacation.
