Our annual SCA trip to Pennsic

My husband and I go every year to Western Pennsylvania to Pennsic Wars, a camping event with over 10,000 people. We were engaged there, and we have gone almost every year since we met.

Last year I didn't make it as I'd just given birth to our first child, but this year we will be bringing our little one to the 40th anniversary of the event. We will be there, in canvas period-style tents for over a week of the the available two weeks to see old friends as the East and the Midrealm battle for supremacy again!

I will look for group meet-ups for parents and little one, and take classes in silver-work and medieval dance styles and my husband will partake in the fencing and fighting battles, and everyone will have a relaxing time!
