Our summer Magic in Maine

After quite a hectic year, my husband and I longed for tranquility and relaxation. Searching for a vacation spot not to far from our South Carolina digs, we decided to take a trip up the rockbound coast of Maine. Cape Neddick's Nubble Lighthouse and the surrounding area captured the beauty and relaxtion we were looking for. I took this photos at 11 a.m with clear beautiful skies – just two days before Irene churned up the ocean and stole this peaceful scene. This photo captured, for us, the essence and magic of our summer vacation in Maine.
