The Beauty of Louisiana, USA

Several years ago my sister moved to Louisiana, USA after living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest for most of her life. I looked forward to visiting her there but was convinced I would find no beauty in what I perceived to be a dreary part of the country, though I pride myself on my ability to find beauty in any landscape.

We decided to take a day trip to a small area on the coast. There I discovered the unique beauty of Louisiana. Now it is a place I would enjoy traveling to again and discovering more of its beautiful natural treasures!
