Vietnam is a country rich with culture, heritage, and gorgeous landscapes, which all make it your ultimate travel destination for vacationing or just general traveling. From the world famous Mekong River to the picturesque Phu Quoc island, Vietnam has everything you could want for an exotic getaway that puts you right in the center of a whole new culture. Vietnam is one of those must-see places that everyone must visit at least once in their lifetimes.

•Nha Trang

The gorgeous seaside town of Nha Trang looks like it came right out of a postcard, which is probably why it is the most popular seaside resort for visitors from all over the world. Considered the second most beautiful bay in the entire country, Nha Trang features smooth, white sand and clear blue water that is always complemented by perfect temperatures. Residents enjoy scuba diving and picnicking along the bay for a fun and relaxing day out in Vietnam.

•The Cu Chi Tunnels

The massive underground tunnel system known as the Cu Chi Tunnels is located right outside Ho Chi Minh City (a.k.a. Saigon) and are a must-see Vietnam attraction because of the rich history behind them. During the Vietnam War, the tunnels were used by Viet Cong guerillas to hide in between attacks. Tourists can get a firsthand account of these hiding places by exploring the tunnel system.

•The Mekong River

The seventh longest river in Asia, the Mekong River is known worldwide for both its beauty and its strong role in Vietnam's agricultural production. Emptying into southern Vietnam, the river nourishes a large area filled with rice fields and numerous other plants. The river is also used as a substitute road for citizens wanting to travel to nearby villages.

•Mui Ne

The gorgeous beach located in the city Mui Ne is an incredibly notable attraction that hasn't yet caught on in popularity, which makes it a great destination for privacy and exclusivity. The area is known for its strong breezes, which makes it ideal for activities such as kite flying and windsurfing. The sand dunes are especially beautiful and worth seeing during the sunset.

•Sa Pa Terrace

Sa Pa Terrace is a breathtaking agricultural center filled with rice terraces, valleys, mountains, and lush bamboo forests. The area is a great representation of the gorgeous landscapes of Vietnam, which features various rice, corn, and vegetable plants as well.

•Phu Quoc Island

The largest island in Vietnam, Phu Quoc Island is a luxurious tropical getaway complete with palm trees, clean sandy beaches, and bright blue water all along the coast of Cambodia. With lush tropical forests, colorful coral reefs, and various beaches, Phu Quoc is must-see site in Vietnam because of its distinct tropical atmosphere that separates it apart from other regions in the country.

•Hoi An

Often referred to as the "Venice of Vietnam," Hoi An is a popular tourist attraction known for its variety of shops and restaurants and endless canals that lace through the town. Located on the South China Sea coast, the town is an excellent area for fishing and features gorgeous Vietnamese architecture that tourists simply can't miss.

•Hoan Kiem Lake

Located in the capital city of Hanoi, Hoan Kiem Lake is a beautiful, picturesque region featuring an awe-inspiring architecture piece located in the center of the lake and a burgeoning business region along the border. Natives love to picnic in the area and take leisurely walks.

•Thien Mu Pagoda

Located in the city of Hue, the Thien Mu Pagoda is well known for being the tallest pagoda in the entire country of Vietnam. Towering over the Perfume River, the pagoda is a masterpiece of ancient architecture and was built more than 400 years ago during the ruling of the Nguyen Lords.

•Ha Long Bay

The Ha Long Bay literally translates to the "Bay of Descending Dragons" and is located along the coastline of northern Vietnam. The area is a popular tourist attraction with thousands of islands, rich jungles, and immense caves, which are all exciting areas for exploration and picture opportunities.
