Tourism in Australia
If you plan to go to some foreign country as a vacation, I would recommend to consider Australia as one of the choices. Australia offers many exciting things for tourists. The country, or continent for the geography lovers, is known for their wildlife and their beautiful beaches.
When touring in Australia, please take the time to go visit some of their natural landscapes and national parks. Australia is known to have some animals that can naturally be found on the continent. Some of well known ones are the koala and the kangaroo. Your best opportunity to see these animals would be going to a zoo or taking a safari. Also, take the time to go outback riding to see a true Australian landscape. There are many insects in Australia, in fact, seventy percent of the insects are considered an endemic, meaning that they are found exclusively at Australia. This can be a bother to some people who dislike bugs, so make sure to pack insect repellent if you choose to go to Australia.
Part of the natural landscapes are the beaches and coasts. The beaches are usually have white sand. The water generally around Australia is a cool blue color, much like the water found at tropical beaches. This is a great time to cool off from any other tourist activity as Australia can have a temperature. If your the aquatic type, try to do some snorkeling. The clear water of Australia will be a memorable moment for anyone who plans to do so. The aquatic life at the Australian waters is magnificent and will have a lasting imprint in anyone's mind. If snorkeling is considered, then going to the Great Barrier Reef should be a priority.
The Great Barrier Reef is a reef system that is found off the northern coast of Australia. It is the largest reef system that is known to date as it stretches to around 2,6000 kilometers, which is approximately 1,600 miles. The system consists of many individual reefs, which is numbered to be around 2,900, along with about nine hundred tiny islands. The reef is so big that it can be seen from outer space. This reef system is also the largest home that was made by life. The Great Barrier Reef is made of billions of little organisms that are called choral polyps.
Many different aquatic creatures live here also. Did you know that the Great Barrier Reef was once listed as of the seven greatest natural wanders of the world? The Great Barrier Reef is a big hotspot in Australia for tourism, it generates around 1 billion dollars because of it!
