Visit to Hilly Budapest by The Children's Railway

I visited Budapest with my sister this summer. A visit to Buda Hills via the Children's Railway is one of the most delightful surprises in our trip. The old school locomotive is already a very pleasant surprise for urban dwellers like you and me. We enjoyed the ride on the train with wooden seats and half-opened metal frame windows. No air conditioning in the cabin, meaning we get to enjoy fresh air from the rural surrounding. The railway is operated by children under the supervision of adults.
You can see young boys and girls in uniform selling tickets in the train, answering enquiries at reception and conducting traffic at every stop. Although they are just kids, they speak proper English and are willing to answer any of our enquiries. I truly appreciate their dedication at work.
