Weekend in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is a great place to visit and it needs no introduction. Everyone knows Las Vegas as the tourist hot spot of the United States and its ad campaigns are just as well known as the city itself. The city has evolved a lot from its original image however, and is no longer known for just gambling and exotic entertainment for adults.

Las Vegas has capitalized on the tourism industry and now is not only known as: Sin City, but an entertainment center for kids as well as cater to people with all sorts of interests and personalities. Of course with diversification we have seen a never ending increase in new hotel construction as well, and now you can have a fun filled weekend there on a whim, thanks to the many cheap hotels in Las Vegas.

Once you check out some cheap hotel rooms and pick one that suits you, you can pack your bags and get ready to enjoy the night life and entertainment that has made Las Vegas so the city that never sleeps. If you are a gambler there are many options within all the world class hotels lining the Las Vegas strip because they're filled with casinos. You'll even find slot machines at local laundry mats and the airport. Las Vegas is a Mecca for those who enjoy gambling, and whether you are playing at the smaller casinos or going for the big games in the MGM Grand, Bellegio or the Luxor, you’ll be having a great time. In each casino you'll be lavishly catered to with luxurious drinks, surrounded by big name stars and dine on rich cuisine, giving you the opportunity to live the high life while you are on your weekend getaway.

For families and those looking for something different Las Vegas has transformed to accommodate you as well. There are a variety of amazing shopping malls in several of the hotels. Caesars Palace is a great example; it is built to look like a Roman palace and the mall has a painted ceiling of blue sky and clouds, a really lovely touch. Their mall also offers entertainment including theater plays and tons of family friendly restaurants and activities. The Coca Cola Factory and M&M Factory also let you try out new flavors of each and get candid photos with the M &M Candies and the Coke polar bear. Circus Circus has a large theme park built into the hotel and offers rides, arcades, food, and laser tag. Even New York, New York has a small theme park built into it and a roller coaster going through the roof of the hotel. There is so much to do besides enjoying the night life, and whether you are with your family for a nice romantic getaway, or coming to party, you’ll be pleased.

With the money you save you can do whatever suits you whether it be gambling and enjoying a tasty cocktail at one of the many luxurious hotels, or playing arcades and riding the rides at Circus Circus. Las Vegas has something for everyone, and is a great choice for a weekend vacation.
